What is Rheumatoid Factor (RF)?

Measures rheumatoid factor antibodies associated with rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune conditions. One of the classic markers for RA diagnosis.

Why is this test important?

Positive RF supports RA diagnosis but is not specific — found in 5% of healthy adults. Higher titers correlate with more severe disease. Combined with anti-CCP for improved accuracy.
