HDL CHOLESTROL, SERUM

Heinz Bodies
This blood test looks for the presence of Heinz bodies, which are abnormal inclusions within red blood cells. Their presence indicates damage to hemoglobin, the protein responsible for carrying oxygen, often due to oxidative stress or certain genetic conditions.
Hemochromatosis Common Mutation Analysis in HFE Gene (H63D, S61C & C282Y)
This blood test looks for the three most common genetic changes (mutations: H63D, S61C, C282Y) in the HFE gene. These mutations are strongly associated with hereditary hemochromatosis, a condition where the body absorbs too much iron.
Hepatitis A Antibody Total, Serum
This blood test detects both IgM and IgG antibodies to the Hepatitis A virus (HAV). It helps determine if you have a current or recent Hepatitis A infection, or if you have developed immunity from a past infection or vaccination.
Hepatitis A IgG Antibody, Serum
This test checks for long-term immunity to Hepatitis A, either from a past infection or vaccination. A positive result usually means you are protected against future Hepatitis A infections.
Hepatitis A IgM Antibody, Serum
This test detects recent or active Hepatitis A infection. IgM antibodies appear early in the infection, indicating that your body is currently fighting the virus.
HEPATITIS B (HBV DNA) VIRUS PCR QUALITATIVE
This highly sensitive test directly detects the genetic material (DNA) of the Hepatitis B virus in your blood. It determines if the virus is present, indicating an active infection.
HEPATITIS B CORE ANTIBODY (Anti-HBc), TOTAL
This test detects total antibodies to the Hepatitis B core antigen, indicating past or present infection with Hepatitis B. It does not appear after vaccination.
