What is PSA Free/Total Ratio?

Measures both free and total PSA to calculate the ratio. Helps distinguish prostate cancer from benign prostate enlargement when total PSA is in the borderline range (4-10 ng/mL).

Why is this test important?

Free/Total PSA ratio < 15% suggests higher cancer risk. Ratio > 25% suggests BPH. Reduces unnecessary biopsies in men with borderline PSA levels.

How to Prepare
