Carboxy Hemoglobin
This test measures the amount of carboxyhemoglobin in your blood. Carboxyhemoglobin forms when carbon monoxide (CO) binds to hemoglobin in red blood cells, preventing oxygen from being carried effectively throughout the body. High levels indicate carbon monoxide poisoning.
Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA)
The Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) test measures a protein that can be found in the blood. While CEA is naturally present in fetal tissue, elevated levels in adults can sometimes indicate the presence of certain cancers or other non-cancerous conditions. It's primarily used to monitor cancer treatment and detect recurrence.
Cardiolipin Antibodies - IgA, Serum
The Cardiolipin Antibodies (IgA) test detects a specific type of antibody that targets cardiolipin, a fat molecule found in cell membranes. These antibodies are associated with autoimmune conditions, particularly Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), which can increase the risk of blood clots.
Cardiolipin Antibodies - IgG, Serum
The Cardiolipin Antibodies (IgG) test identifies IgG antibodies that target cardiolipin, a lipid found in cell membranes. The presence of these antibodies is a key indicator for Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS), an autoimmune disorder linked to an increased risk of blood clots and pregnancy complications.
Cardiolipin Antibodies - IgM, Serum
The Cardiolipin Antibodies (IgM) test checks for IgM antibodies that target cardiolipin, a lipid found in cell membranes. While these antibodies can be transiently present due to infections, persistent elevated levels may suggest an autoimmune condition like Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS).
CATECHOLAMINES, Random Urine
This test measures levels of catecholamines (epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine) in a random urine sample. These hormones are produced by the adrenal glands and nerve tissues, playing a vital role in the body's stress response.
CBC REFLEX TO LAP
This test starts with a Complete Blood Count (CBC) to evaluate different components of your blood, like red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. If the white blood cell count is abnormal, it automatically "reflexes" to a Leukocyte Alkaline Phosphatase (LAP) score.
CEA (Carcinoembryonic Antigen)
Measures CEA, a protein that can be elevated in colorectal, lung, breast, and other cancers. Primarily used for monitoring cancer treatment response and detecting recurrence.
Celiac Profile
The Celiac Profile is a group of blood tests designed to screen for and help diagnose celiac disease, an autoimmune condition where eating gluten damages the small intestine. It typically includes tests for specific antibodies.
Ceruloplasmin
Ceruloplasmin is a protein produced in the liver that plays a vital role in copper metabolism, transporting copper throughout the body. This blood test measures the amount of ceruloplasmin in your blood.
CH 50 COMPLEMENT TOTAL SERUM
The CH50 Complement Total Serum test measures the overall activity of the classical complement pathway, which is a part of your immune system. The complement system helps your body fight infections and remove damaged cells.
Chikungunya virus Antibodies, IgG, Serum
This test detects IgG antibodies to the Chikungunya virus in your blood. IgG antibodies typically develop later in an infection and can indicate a past infection or immunity to the virus. It helps determine if you have been exposed to Chikungunya in the past.
