Treponema Pallidum IgG
The Treponema Pallidum IgG test is a blood test that looks for IgG antibodies, which are typically produced later in an infection and can remain in your system for life. A positive result usually indicates a past or chronic syphilis infection.
Treponema Pallidum IgM
The Treponema Pallidum IgM test is a blood test that detects IgM antibodies, which are usually the first type of antibodies produced by your body in response to a new infection. A positive result often suggests a recent or active syphilis infection.
Treponema pallidum PCR
The Treponema pallidum PCR test directly detects the genetic material (DNA) of the bacterium that causes syphilis. This highly sensitive test can identify the infection even in its very early stages or when antibody tests might be inconclusive.
Trichomonas vaginalis PCR
The Trichomonas vaginalis PCR test is a highly accurate method to detect the genetic material (DNA) of the parasite Trichomonas vaginalis, which causes the common sexually transmitted infection trichomoniasis. It's a sensitive test for diagnosing active infections.
TRIGLYCERIDES, SERUM
The Triglycerides test measures the amount of triglycerides, a type of fat, in your blood. These fats are stored in your body for energy, but high levels can be a sign of health issues.
Triple Marker
The Triple Marker test is a prenatal screening test offered to pregnant women. It measures the levels of three specific substances in the mother's blood to assess potential risks for certain fetal conditions.
Troponin I (Cardiac)
Measures cardiac troponin I, a protein released when heart muscle cells are damaged. The most sensitive and specific marker for heart attack (myocardial infarction).
Troponin T
The Troponin T test measures the level of Troponin T, a protein found in heart muscle, in your blood. When heart muscle is damaged, Troponin T is released into the bloodstream.
Trypsin, Serum
Trypsin is an enzyme primarily produced in the pancreas that helps digest proteins. This test measures the level of trypsin in your blood to assess pancreatic function.
Tryptase, Serum
The Tryptase serum test measures the level of tryptase, an enzyme released by mast cells, which are part of your immune system. Mast cells play a role in allergic reactions.
TSC1 and TSC2 Gene (Tuberous Sclerosis) by MLPA
This test specifically looks for changes in the TSC1 and TSC2 genes, which are associated with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). It uses a technique called MLPA (Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification) to detect deletions or duplications in these genes.
TSH Receptor Antiboby (TRAb)
The TSH Receptor Antibody (TRAb) test detects antibodies that target the TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) receptor on your thyroid gland. These antibodies can interfere with normal thyroid function.
