What is GlycoMark?

The GlycoMark test measures 1,5-anhydroglucitol (1,5-AG) levels in your blood, which reflect short-term glucose control over the past 1-2 weeks. It's particularly useful for detecting recent glucose fluctuations.

Why is this test important?

This test helps identify periods of hyperglycemia (high blood sugar) that might be missed by HbA1c, especially in individuals with diabetes. It aids in assessing glycemic variability and optimizing diabetes management.

How to Prepare
