Mycoplasma Pneumoniae IgA (Quantitative)
This blood test measures the amount of IgA antibodies your body produces in response to a Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. Mycoplasma pneumoniae is a common bacterium that can cause respiratory tract infections, often referred to as "walking pneumonia."
Mycoplasma Pneumoniae IgG (Quantitative)
This blood test measures the specific amount (quantitative) of IgG antibodies against Mycoplasma pneumoniae. IgG antibodies develop later in an infection and can indicate a past infection or long-term immunity to this common cause of "walking pneumonia."
Mycoplasma Pneumoniae IgM (Quantitative)
This blood test measures the amount of IgM antibodies your body produces in response to a Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. IgM antibodies typically appear early in an infection, helping to identify a recent or active illness. It's a key tool for diagnosing "walking pneumonia" and other respiratory issues.
Mycoplasma pneumoniae PCR
This PCR test detects the genetic material (DNA) of Mycoplasma pneumoniae directly from a swab sample. It's a highly sensitive and specific method to confirm an active infection, often used for respiratory symptoms like persistent cough or pneumonia.
Mycoplasma Spp. Culture - HVS
This test involves culturing a High Vaginal Swab (HVS) to identify the presence of Mycoplasma species, such as Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum. These bacteria can sometimes cause urogenital infections or complications in women.
Mycoplasma Spp. Culture - Urine
This test involves culturing a urine sample to detect the presence of Mycoplasma species, such as Mycoplasma hominis and Ureaplasma urealyticum. These bacteria can sometimes cause urinary tract infections (UTIs) or other urogenital issues in both men and women.
MycoTOX Profile
The MycoTOX Profile is a blood test that screens for exposure to mycotoxins, which are toxic compounds produced by certain molds. This test helps assess if you have been exposed to harmful mold toxins that can impact your health.
Myeloproliferative Neoplasia (MPN) Panel (BCR QLT,JAK2 PANEL(12-15),CALR, MPL)
This panel of tests looks for specific genetic changes in your blood cells. It helps identify certain types of blood cancers where your bone marrow produces too many blood cells.
Myoglobin, Serum
This blood test measures the level of myoglobin, a protein found in muscle tissue. When muscles are damaged, myoglobin is released into the bloodstream.
Myoglobin, Urine
This urine test measures myoglobin, a protein released from damaged muscles. When muscle damage is severe, myoglobin can be filtered by the kidneys and appear in the urine.
Myositis Profile - 16
This blood test panel checks for specific antibodies associated with various forms of myositis, which are inflammatory muscle diseases. It helps identify the type of myositis affecting you.
NF1 Gene Deletion and Duplication by MLPA
This genetic test uses MLPA (Multiplex Ligation-dependent Probe Amplification) to detect deletions or duplications within the NF1 gene. Changes in this gene are associated with Neurofibromatosis Type 1, a genetic disorder affecting nerve tissue growth.
