Calcitonin, Serum
Calcitonin is a hormone produced by the thyroid gland that helps regulate calcium levels in the blood. This test measures the amount of calcitonin in your serum to assess thyroid function and related conditions.
Calcium (Total)
Measures total calcium in the blood. Calcium is vital for bone health, muscle function, nerve signaling, and blood clotting.
CALCIUM CORRECTED
This test measures your total calcium level and then adjusts it based on your albumin levels. This correction provides a more accurate picture of your biologically active calcium, especially if your albumin levels are abnormal.
Calcium Free (Ionized)
This test measures the amount of "free" or ionized calcium in your blood, which is the active form of calcium available for your body's functions. It's often considered a more direct indicator of calcium status than total calcium.
Calprotectin
This test measures the level of calprotectin, a protein released by white blood cells, in your stool sample. Elevated levels can indicate inflammation in the gastrointestinal tract.
CALR Mutation Analysis
The CALR Mutation Analysis is a blood test that looks for specific changes (mutations) in the CALR gene. These mutations are often associated with certain blood disorders, helping doctors understand the cause of your condition. It provides crucial information for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Campylobacter spp. PCR
The Campylobacter spp. PCR test is a rapid and highly sensitive stool test used to detect the genetic material of Campylobacter bacteria. These bacteria are a common cause of food poisoning and can lead to symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal pain, and fever. This test helps identify the specific pathogen causing your gastrointestinal illness.
Cancer 50 Gene Hotspot Panel NGS
The Cancer 50 Gene Hotspot Panel NGS is an advanced tissue test that analyzes 50 specific regions (hotspots) in genes commonly associated with various cancers. Using Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) technology, it identifies critical genetic mutations that can drive cancer growth. This test provides a comprehensive genetic profile of your tumor.
Cancer Any Four Gene Panel, NGS
The Cancer Any Four Gene Panel, NGS, is a specialized tissue test that analyzes specific mutations in up to four genes relevant to your particular cancer type. Utilizing Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), it provides targeted genetic information to help understand your tumor's characteristics. This focused approach aids in personalized treatment decisions.
Cancer Marker Profile
A Cancer Marker Profile is a blood test that measures the levels of various substances (tumor markers) in your blood that can be produced by cancer cells or by the body in response to cancer. While not used for primary diagnosis, these markers can provide valuable information for monitoring cancer progression, treatment effectiveness, or recurrence.
Candida Albicans Detection, PCR
This urine test uses PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) technology to directly detect the genetic material of Candida Albicans. It's a highly sensitive method for identifying the presence of this common yeast, even in small amounts.
Candida Albicans Total antibodies Serum
This blood test measures the total amount of antibodies (including IgM, IgG, and IgA) your body has produced against Candida Albicans. It provides a broader picture of your immune response to this common yeast.
