What is Urinalysis (Complete)?

Comprehensive urine examination including physical (color, clarity), chemical (pH, protein, glucose, blood, ketones), and microscopic analysis (cells, crystals, bacteria).

Why is this test important?

A routine screening test that can detect UTI, kidney disease, diabetes, liver disease, and dehydration. First morning sample is preferred for concentration.

How to Prepare

Collect midstream first morning urine in a clean container. Avoid contamination.

It depends on the test. Tests like lipid profile and fasting blood sugar require 10-12 hours of fasting. Tests like CBC, vitamin D, and thyroid do not require fasting. Each test page on our website clearly states the fasting requirements.

Most routine tests have results within 24-48 hours. Some specialized tests take longer. Each test page shows its expected turnaround time, and we will let you know when your report is ready.
