What is Prenatal Screening (First Trimester)?
First trimester combined screening including PAPP-A, free beta-hCG, and nuchal translucency risk calculation for Down syndrome, Edwards syndrome, and Patau syndrome.
Why is this test important?
Performed between weeks 11-13 of pregnancy. Combined with maternal age and ultrasound measurements for risk assessment. Detection rate > 90% for trisomy 21.
