What is HIV 1 & 2 Antibody?

Screens for HIV infection by detecting antibodies against HIV-1 and HIV-2. Early detection enables life-saving treatment. Confidential testing with pre- and post-test counseling.

Why is this test important?

Fourth-generation tests detect both antibodies and p24 antigen, reducing the window period to 2-4 weeks. Negative result 3 months after exposure is considered definitive.
