What is Growth Hormone (GH)?
Measures growth hormone produced by the pituitary gland. Used to diagnose growth disorders in children (GH deficiency, gigantism) and acromegaly in adults.

GH is released in pulses, so a single random measurement may be misleading. Stimulation or suppression tests are often needed for definitive diagnosis. IGF-1 is a more stable marker.
