What is Adrenaline Epinephrine, Plasma?

This blood test measures the level of adrenaline (epinephrine) in your plasma. Adrenaline is a hormone produced by your adrenal glands, playing a key role in your body's "fight or flight" response.

Why is this test important?

It's often used to help diagnose conditions like pheochromocytoma, a rare tumor of the adrenal gland that can cause excessive adrenaline production. Monitoring levels can also assess stress responses.
