INFLUENZA VIRUS B IgG
IgG antibodies are produced later in an infection and can persist for a long time, indicating past exposure or immunity to Influenza B virus. This test helps assess if you've had a previous infection or developed immunity.
INFLUENZA VIRUS B IgM
This test detects IgM antibodies specific to Influenza B virus, which are typically present during the early stages of an active infection. It helps identify a recent or ongoing infection with Influenza B.
Inhalant Allergy Panel (20 Allergens)
Tests for IgE antibodies against 20 common inhaled allergens including dust mites, cat/dog dander, mold spores, tree pollen, grass pollen, and cockroach allergens.
INSULIN ANTIBODIES
This test measures the presence of antibodies that target insulin in your blood. These antibodies can interfere with insulin's function and are often a sign of an autoimmune response. It helps understand if your immune system is mistakenly attacking insulin-producing cells.
Insulin Free
This test measures the amount of "free" insulin circulating in your blood, which is insulin not bound to antibodies or other proteins. It provides a more accurate picture of biologically active insulin, especially in individuals receiving insulin therapy.
Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF 1)
IGF-1 is a hormone primarily produced by the liver, playing a key role in growth and development, especially in children and adolescents. Its levels are closely linked to growth hormone (GH) activity, reflecting overall growth status.
Insulin Like Growth Factor BP3 (IGFBP-3)
IGFBP-3 is the main binding protein for IGF-1 in the blood, helping to transport and regulate its activity. It stabilizes IGF-1, extending its half-life and ensuring its steady delivery to tissues.
INSULIN RESISTANCE TEST
The Insulin Resistance Test evaluates how effectively your body's cells respond to insulin, the hormone that helps glucose enter cells for energy. High resistance means your cells don't absorb glucose efficiently, leading to higher blood sugar.
Interleukin 2
Interleukin 2 (IL-2) is a vital cytokine, a type of protein that acts as a messenger within the immune system. It plays a critical role in activating and regulating white blood cells, which are essential for fighting infections and diseases.
Interleukin 8
Interleukin 8 (IL-8) is a powerful cytokine that acts as a chemical signal, attracting immune cells like neutrophils to sites of inflammation, infection, or injury. It's a key player in the body's immediate inflammatory response.
INTERLEUKIN-10 (IL-10)
Interleukin 10 (IL-10) is an anti-inflammatory cytokine that plays a crucial role in suppressing the immune response and maintaining immune system balance. It helps prevent excessive inflammation and tissue damage.
INTERLEUKIN-6 (IL-6)
IL-6 is a protein produced by the body's immune cells. This test measures the level of IL-6 in your blood, which can indicate inflammation or immune system activity. It helps understand your body's response to various conditions.
