Creatine Kinase MB (CK-MB)
The Creatine Kinase MB (CK-MB) test measures a specific enzyme found primarily in your heart muscle. When heart muscle is damaged, CK-MB is released into your bloodstream, making it a key indicator for heart health.
Creatinine Clearance (24-hr Urine)
Measures kidney filtration rate by comparing creatinine levels in blood and a 24-hour urine collection. More accurate than blood creatinine alone for assessing kidney function.
CREATININE PHOSPHOKINASE(CPK), SERUM
This test measures the level of Creatine Phosphokinase (CPK), an enzyme primarily found in your heart, brain, and skeletal muscles. Elevated CPK levels can indicate muscle damage or stress from various causes.
CREATININE, SERUM
This test measures the level of creatinine in your blood, a waste product produced from normal muscle metabolism. Creatinine is filtered out of the blood by the kidneys and excreted in urine.
CRP (Quantitative)
Measures C-reactive protein levels to detect and monitor inflammation and infection. CRP rises rapidly with inflammation and falls quickly when resolved.
Cryofibrinogen Qualitative
This test checks for the presence of cryofibrinogen, an abnormal protein that can precipitate (clump together) in the blood when exposed to cold temperatures. Its presence can indicate underlying health issues.
Cryoglobulins Qualitative Serum
This test detects cryoglobulins, which are abnormal antibodies that become insoluble and precipitate when exposed to cold temperatures. They can re-dissolve when warmed.
Cryptococcus Antigen detection CSF
This test detects the presence of Cryptococcus antigen in your cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which surrounds your brain and spinal cord. It helps diagnose infections caused by the Cryptococcus fungus.
CRYPTOCOCCUS ANTIGEN, SERUM
This test detects specific antigens (proteins) produced by the Cryptococcus fungus in your blood. It's a key tool for diagnosing cryptococcosis, a fungal infection that can affect various parts of the body, especially the lungs and brain.
CRYPTOSPORIDIUM / ISOSPORA IDENTIFICATION, STOOL
This stool test looks for the presence of Cryptosporidium and Isospora parasites, which can cause gastrointestinal infections. It helps identify the specific parasite responsible for symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal cramps, and nausea.
Cryptosporidium spp PCR
This PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) test detects the genetic material (DNA) of Cryptosporidium parasites in a stool sample. It's a highly sensitive and rapid method for diagnosing cryptosporidiosis, an infection causing watery diarrhea.
CULTURE - CONJUNCTIVAL SWAB
This test involves taking a swab from your conjunctiva (the membrane lining your eyelid and covering the white part of your eye) to grow and identify any bacteria or fungi present. It helps diagnose eye infections like conjunctivitis.
