What is Vitamin E (Tocopherol)?

Measures vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol) levels. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative damage and supports immune function.

Why is this test important?

Deficiency is rare but can occur in fat malabsorption conditions (celiac, cystic fibrosis). Causes peripheral neuropathy and muscle weakness. Excess supplementation may increase bleeding risk.
