What is 24 Hrs Urinary Arsenic?

This test measures the amount of arsenic excreted in your urine over a 24-hour period. Arsenic is a toxic heavy metal found naturally in the environment and in some industrial products. This test helps determine your level of exposure and how your body is eliminating it.

How to Prepare

You will need to collect all urine passed over a full 24-hour period into a special container. Avoid seafood for at least 48 hours before collection, as it can contain non-toxic forms of arsenic that may interfere with results.
